Rescued Treasures is a thrift store with a mission. Profits from the store support The Humane Society of Putnam County. The Putnam County Animal Care Shelter is a joint venture between Putnam County and The Humane Society of Putnam County. All goods sold at Rescued Treasures are donated by members of the community and the store is staffed entirely by volunteers. You’ll find new sales each week; clothing, footwear, purses, glassware, hardware, toys, books, linens and holiday decorations are available.
With your purchase, you’ll be helping the cats and dogs of Putnam County and you’ll help the store fund a TNR (trap-neuter-release) program to help reduce the number of unwanted feral kittens in our community, while allowing feral cats to return to their neighborhoods. The Humane Society also distributes vouchers, available to county residents the first Friday and Saturday of each month, to help pay for pets tobe spayed or neutered.
