Taco Wapo Burrito Factory brings fresh, authentic Mexican food to Greencastle. When Taco Wapo opened in August, 2018, Seregio Morales wanted to create a space where DePauw students, downtown business people, and everyone from the community could get a quick, delicious, healthy meal—even during a short break from work or classes.
He wanted to offer easy to-go options including street tacos served on soft warm corn tortillas and handmade tamale; plates you will not find elsewhere in the county. Classics such as burritos, nachos, and quesadillas and U.S. creations like crispy tacos and burrito bowls round out the menu.
Taco Wapo’s “build-your-own” style, where you choose your own meat and toppings, allows you to craft your plate just the way you like it. Their open design means you can see everything that goes into your food and watch it being made.
