Everyone loves ice cream and the new fashionable ice cream place in downtown Greencastle called Scoops Ice Cream parlor offers 20 flavors everyday! Most people think vanilla was the first flavor invented but history shows that the first ice cream was actually flavored with honey, nuts and a fruit topping!
Today, Scoops offers homemade ice cream with wacky, unusual flavors like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Key Lime Pie, Banana Cream Pie, and the most popular flavor, The Grand Central Station- a caramel-based ice cream loaded with luscious graham cracker pieces and, rich, delectable chocolate chunks.—But you will need to come often because many of the flavors change frequently.
Along with the homemade waffle cones and waffle bowls, sugar cones and cake cones are also available. The moment you enter Scoops you will smell the freshly baked waffle cones made on-site! The baby pink painted walls makes you think of ice cream and delicious things!
Scoops is wheelchair accessible. You can order takeout or be seated inside or outside and it is located right off the Greencastle square at 13 South Indiana Street.
