For nearly 51 years, Lincoln Park Speedway has been the hot racing spot to be on Saturday nights. The 5/16’s mile dirt track started out as a high-banked, mile racing facility. But time and improvements have created one of the most exciting and competitive dirt tracks in all of the midwest.
The track is located on US 40 between Indianapolis and Terre Haute in beautiful downtown Putnamville, Indiana. The track opens the first of April and features racing every Saturday night through the end of September. The shows include Sprint Cars, UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks and Bombers. Hot laps begin at 6 pm and racing at 7 pm. The events draw participants from around the United States.
The track is known for its affordable family fun and some of the very best “race track cuisine” around. With seating for 6000 and a pit area for 175 racecars, it spells “hot fun in the summertime” at Lincoln Park Speedway.
