Nestled on the north side of the courthouse square, Almost Home Restaurant has served diners for nearly three decades. Through the years, Almost Home has transformed from a small tea room to a full-service restaurant which also provides both onsite and offsite catering options.
Almost Home continues to expand its services. Breakfast is now served seven days a week from 8am-11am. Menu items include biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, French toast, yogurt parfaits, and fresh fruit. Homemade cinnamon rolls and fruit turnovers are also made fresh in their onsite bakery.
Almost Home’s bar has been remodeled in order to accommodate increased catering and event space. The former Swizzle Stick will continue to offer specialty drinks and an updated wine list to restaurant patrons. However, the room can now also be rented for office parties, rehearsal dinners, sports team meals, staff meetings, and more. Limited menus and buffet options are available for such events.
A new dinner menu emphasizes Almost Home’s signature style-comfort food with a flair. Handcut steaks and salmon-from local butcher shop Myers’ Market-will continue to be offered as well as new menu items such as beef stroganoff, chicken and dumplings, and BBQ ribs. The Swizzle Stick Bar features fabulous martinis and top-shelf liquor, as well as domestic, imported and local craft beers, served from behind a hand-crafted oak bar.
Almost Home restaurant is located on the north side of the courthouse square and serves breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Dinner is served on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5pm-9pm.
