There’s music, food and fun ahead each First Friday as downtown Greencastle says Welcome! Come enjoy live music, cooking on the grill and open-air activities each First Friday April through December on the North side of the square.
Franklin and Indiana Streets are shut down to provide for outdoor bands, outdoor movies for children and activities for young and old alike. There’s a different theme each First Friday and activities like Taste of Putnam County, giant bubble activities, artists and drum circles and lots more are in the works.
Grilling aromas will draw you to Almost Home where owner Gail Smith, the originator of First Friday, oversees the outdoor cooking of scrumptious meat fresh from Myer’s Market in Greencastle.
Hours for First Friday’s lineup for 2018 will be 6:00 p.m. - 9.p.m. See you on the Square for First Friday!
