PUTNAM COUNTY PLAYHOUSE
Putnam County Playhouse has entertained and amused those seeking live theatre for more than 40 years.
The Playhouse provides a way for people of the county and surrounding areas to participate in, and enjoy, live theatre. The Playhouse is housed in a barn (view history) that was donated by Mrs. Hazel Day Longden.
Visitors to the theatre will find the air-cooled interior in keeping with the barn atmosphere, but it contains all the stage, sound and lighting facilities for high-quality theatre productions.
The Playhouse is active from June through September (with the first auditions taking place in April.) It is located on Round Barn Road (10th Street) just north and east of Greencastle. It presents two musicals and two straight plays during its 16-week season and most years produces a children’s workshop performance.
The playhouse is located at 715 S County Road 100 E, Greencastle, Indiana. For Tickets click here and for more information, visit their website at www.PutnamCountyPlayhouse.com or call 765-653-5880.
